Generally genetic or hereditary hormonal modifications in the man’s body are the main cause of ‘baldness’ and ‘thinning hair’. Some chemical hair products can also contribute to hair loss by affecting hair follicles. Because of the absence of testosterone in female’s hair loss are uncommon. The use of Propecia by females is strictly prohibited.  Propecia works effectively towards hair loss by causing a remarkable reduction in the amount of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) and regulates the formation of DHT in the scalp. Poorer DHT emerges to slow down the shrinking of affected hair follicles.  DHT is a substance in the body that shrivels each hair follicle until it no longer generates visible hair.  Propecia works to halt the conversion of testosterone to (DHT) in a man’s body.
